Beau Johnson was working 60+ hours a week, for 8 years, as a restaurant manager when he realized enough was enough! He had a passion for sports broadcasting and decided to take his life into his own hands and follow his dream. At age 36, Beau began to tour broadcasting schools in the Atlanta area and found his home at Connecticut School of Broadcasting, Atlanta. "Connecticut School of Broadcasting was definitely the standout as far as curriculum and variety of different broadcasting technology that would be taught."
After graduating the Atlanta campus, Beau took an internship at CBS Radio Atlanta – WZGC, 92.9 The Game, where he was eventually hired in the promotions department. But he was still looking for more! "I'm happy to announce that I was recently promoted to the Programming Department as a Producer and Board Operator!" Beau is grateful for his time at his alma mater, "The staff at Connecticut School of Broadcasting still remains very helpful in finding job options and they help keep my career moving in the right direction. If you are looking to be in front of the microphone, or if production and programming are more your style, Connecticut School of Broadcasting is by far first in class for anyone looking to break in to the field."
