Why CSB?

Imagine working side-by-side with the same radio DJ who helps get you through your morning commute, or reading a teleprompter alongside a local celebrity news anchor.

CSB School of Broadcasting only hires instructors who are the kind of media professionals that our students want to become. Our instructors come straight from their studios to our studios, ready to teach you what it takes to be a professional. Become a producer on a major television network or a DJ on your own radio show, or broadcast from major sporting events.

Why do students choose CSB School of Broadcasting? It's simple. As a student at CSB School of Broadcasting, you'll develop the skills to create your own persona and craft your own fame. And, our nationwide network of media partners makes CSB School of Broadcasting your gateway to success.

The following four stages of the CSB School of Broadcasting lifetime partnership are why you should fill out the form to the right and begin a conversation with us! (And by lifetime, we really mean for the duration of your life.)

LEARN BY DOING®
Our Learn By Doing® approach means that you'll learn in a live TV and radio studio environment on modern, professional equipment - something that employers notice right away. You'll start learning the fundamentals of broadcasting from faculty members who've been there and know exactly how to prepare you for real-life situations. You'll be expected to complete class assignments and to start developing your professional skills in our studios and production suites. Our curriculum covers every aspect of broadcasting so that while you learn, you can start deciding which aspect of the business you'd like to pursue.

CSB School of Broadcasting promises such great results because every student gets an amazing level of attention. The student-to-faculty ratio is approximately 5:1. You'll get the guidance you need to become a success.

DEMOS/RESUMÉS/WORKSHOPS
Once you've mastered the basics, you'll receive your CSB School of Broadcasting certificate. But graduation day is not the end of your experience; it's just the beginning of the next chapter of your career. Now we start to prepare you for presentation to the industry. This is a critical and invaluable stage that lets you refine your skills and play up your strengths. By the time you're finished, you'll have highly professional materials and demos that will give you a distinct advantage when you start the interviewing process.

JOB PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE
Now you're ready to start looking for that dream job. Our dedicated staff will guide you every step of the way. From tailoring cover letters to interview training, they know exactly what prospective employers look for in successful applicants. They'll also help you evaluate different opportunities and network your way onto the specific career path that you find most exciting.

CAREER-LONG SUPPORT
The broadcasting industry is fast-paced and highly competitive so talented professionals are continually on the move. Emerging opportunities in new fields, such as satellite TV and Internet production, create an even more dynamic marketplace. From your first job until the day you retire, CSB School of Broadcasting will be there for you, helping with guidance and placement services as you climb the ladder of success. And if you ever decide you'd like to try something new and need to come back for additional training, you'll always have access to our faculty, facilities and technology. This includes lifetime use of our studios - any studio - at any of our campus locations in the U.S.
